Road Trip to Ellen
It's no secret I am a HUGE Ellen fan! Joan got tickets and I kissed her butt and got invited to go with! Woohoo! Girls road trip! We left Sunday night for the Monday taping of Tuesday's Cinco de Mayo episode! Did you catch that? Please try and keep up! Guests that day included, Simon Cowell from American Idol, Zachary Quinto from Heroes and the Star Trek Movie, and musical performance by the Black Eyed Peas (Fergie was in the HOUSE!)! 
We checked in at 1:30pm and taping started at 4pm. The studio was SUPER nice and much smaller than it looks on t.v. Those red chairs are kiddie size! We saw Tony-the d.j., Mary- the producer, Andy- the assistant, and of course Ellen's mom! Oh yes, I can't leave out that we had the best seats in the house! The VERY last row!! (insert sarcasm!)I was excited to be there and hey, at least we didn't get bumped to the riff-raff room right?! Ellen did not dance up and down the aisles (WHATEVER!) but she did come right by us during a commercial break on her way to the bathroom! None in our party had a sappy enough story to win the $1000 cash, but it being the 5 de mayo show got us a $350 margarita machine! Party at my house...in 4-6 weeks...! 
We got a bonus guest..the extremely handsome Anderson Cooper! (his interview airs next Thursday) No cameras were allowed in, and this forbidden shot is all we got! Jacob is also a fan and I got him some Ellen water and a silly blindfold from the Ellen shop! We watched our arms, backs, hands, and heads make their Ellen t.v. debut the next day!
