Charlie's birth story...
The plan: Check-in at 9:30am Scheduled C-section at 11:30am
The players: Dr. Weidemann (anxious OBGYN ready for a 3 wk vacation to start after surgery)
Anesthesiologist (also anxious about his vacation starting right after MY surgery)
Me ( a HUGE pregnant lady ready to pop and meet her baby!)
Baby Daddy (super calm w/ an iPhone at the ready w/ random facts to pass the time)
Results: Charlie was born at 11:48am! Go team! No complications, weighing in at 8 lbs 3oz and 20 1/4 inches in length.
Some fun facts: Charlie was born on exactly the mid day of the year, on the middle day of the week, in the middle of the day. Guess we have to have another one to make him the middle child...
My Dr. said the he was squeezed in so tight there was no way he would have come out naturally, he even grunted as he pulled him out (comforting to me behind the curtain!)
I could never be a drug addict, coming off of morphine later that night was NOT fun...
Charlie will share a birthday with Lindsay Lohan, Elizabeth Tudor, Thurgood Marshall, Vicente Fox, and Dave Thomas (Wendy's).
The first Wal-Mart opened in 1962....Hmmmmm.......
