Sweet Pecan Street

A very rare Vegas Snow Day
I knew right away that I wanted to live on Sweet Pecan. In the midst of what was a stressful house hunt and the life changing relocation from California, finding this street name brought some much needed comedy!   This house was actually our second choice. Our offer on a corner house down the street didn't work out...ironically that house is still empty...5 years later! Good thing for us our house became available, and on an EVEN better corner lot! The day we moved in, we were so graciously welcomed by our neighbors Freddy & Marianna, that we knew it was meant to be! Being so far from family was going to be hard. Five years later, we have such a great support system of friends who we call family, and even got the grandparents to move to town!!

We've been really happy here. First Days of School, Play-dates, Campouts, Fire-side Chats, First Bikes, Snow Days, Turkey-Days, Ding-Dong ditching, Water Main disasters, Charlie's first home, and our Daisy's last. Hundreds of photos of the fun we have had here. Hundreds of memories. It's time to say goodbye to this house. We are ready for something 'new' and have been excited to share this news with everyone. We will be saying good bye to Sweet Pecan Street on July 20th, it's been a wonderful home for us.

bittersweet and exciting! can't wait to see the new house all ready. (my offer to help with the decorating still stands, you know?)

I know moving is such a big step for your family. It will feel so good when your house is done and you are moved in!

I love that picture of Charlie and Jacob with the flag. So cute.
