I needed to get away from the drilling and digging going on in front of our house, so where else to go but Disneyland! Thanks to my Dad for thinking of us and getting us awesome park hopper tickets!, and to my in-laws who just happened to be staying in O.C. for the week with an extra room, looked like it was meant to be!
For Charlie's first trip, we made sure to hit up Dumbo, Storybook Land, the Jungle Cruise, the Tiki Room, both Toy Story rides, A Bugs World, and Pirates of the Caribbean (despite him deciding to fall asleep through it!). Charlie's favorite ride was the newly remodeled "It's a Small World", he was jumping up and down and clapping to each country's take on "Jingle Bells"! He had his first Churro, pineapple soft serve, and even managed a picture with a character or two! No meltdowns or fears, no rain, and no trips to lost and found! I am happy to report a disaster- free Disney day!
